About the Event
Kick off Magic City Classic Week with Rotaract Birmingham's annual fall fundraiser at Sip N' Spell, a high-energy, team-based spelling competition where Family Feud meets the spelling bee!
Join us Thursday, October 22 at Woodlawn Theatre for an evening of friendly competition, networking, and fellowship with Birmingham’s young professionals, all while supporting a great cause.
How It Works:
Tickets are purchased individually, but no one spells alone! Participants compete in teams and can build their own team after purchasing tickets. Then, it’s time to put your spelling skills—and your strategy—to the test.
Each round gets progressively harder, but don’t worry: buy-backs, cheats, and a few surprises will be incorporated throughout the game to give teams a chance to stay in the competition.
And yes, there are bragging rights—but there’s also $1,000 on the line. The winning team will split the $1,000 prize pot!
