Project Homeless Connect

In a system which is often difficult to understand and navigate, local agencies join forces to offer a one-day event that centralizes access to services (housing, legal, medical, identification, veterans, employment, personal grooming services, etc.) for those experiencing homelessness in the Birmingham area. Project Homeless Connect is an annual event requires as many as 1,000 volunteers to support the needs of the approximately 700 guests experiencing homelessness. Join fellow Rotaractors and the Birmingham community in volunteering as a client guide. You will be paired with a person experiencing homelessness and assist them in filling out registration forms (as needed) and visiting tables that have the services that they need.
