Virtual Lunch with Dan Stephens
Dan Stephens is Executive Director of the Rotary Club of Birmingham, one of the largest Rotary Clubs in the world. He has served as a leader in community development for local, state, and international organizations for nearly 20 years. He previously served as Vice President of Community Impact for United Way of Central Alabama where he managed the Bold Goals Coalition, aligning 200 organizations to advance health, education and financial stability in the Birmingham region. He played a pivotal role in the development of the Building (it) Together initiative to align workforce development and industry needs, as well as the creation of the Birmingham Promise. Dan has served on several non-profit and government committees and boards, including the Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama Roundtable. He has been a frequent speaker at conferences and panels on collective impact and is a graduate of the University of Georgia, Columbia Theological Seminary, UAB, and the Alabama Leadership Initiative. He was one of 30 non-profit leaders in the country selected by the Allstate Foundation for the Nonprofit Executive Leadership Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in 2020.
