Join us for a luncheon on Thursday, April 4, with Jesus Mendez-Fragoso, owner of Adios, Unos Tacos, The Louis Bar, and Honest Roasters Coffee. He will be sharing his personal story of growing up in the United States after immigrating from Mexico, and his journey to entrepreneurship.
Originally from Mexico, Jesus migrated to Birmingham in 1994. Spending most of his childhood and teenage years in Shelby County, life later led him to Birmingham in 2016. He continued his restaurant career and gained experiences at establishments such as Cocina Superior, Taco Mama, and Highlands Bar & Grill. Eventually, he assumed the role of managing partner at The Pizitz Food Hall in 2018. Over the years, he has invested in and established Unos Tacos, Honest Coffee Roasters, Adiós, and now Salud Taqueria. He looks forward to growing and establishing more businesses in Birmingham.
