The President is responsible for setting the vision, inspiring leadership, and championing the Club’s mission of service and impact. As the chief executive, the President leads the Board of Directors, fosters a culture of collaboration and accountability, oversees all Club operations, and serves as the public face of the organization. The President ensures every initiative reflects the Club’s commitment to excellence, community engagement, and meaningful, sustainable change. Additionally, the President builds strategic partnerships, motivates members toward collective goals, and upholds the Club’s values and legacy of service.

The Vice President of Finance is the chief steward of the Club’s and Foundation’s financial health, ensuring sound fiscal management, transparency, and sustainability. Responsible for overseeing budgets, managing cash flow, and maintaining financial records, this role ensures that all expenditures and revenues support the Club’s mission and daily operations. The VP of Finance partners closely with the President and Foundation Board to safeguard financial integrity, oversee fundraising and compliance, and provide timely reporting to stakeholders—ensuring the Club remains in a strong position to achieve its goals.

The Vice President of Membership Development strengthens the Club’s pipeline of purpose-driven leaders by overseeing programs that support member growth, engagement, and transition. This role manages key leadership initiatives—including the Leadership Development, Board Fellows, and Junior Rotaractor programs—and supports alumni as they transition into local Rotary Clubs. By fostering professional and civic development opportunities, the VP of Membership Development ensures members are equipped to make lasting contributions within the Club and the broader community.

The Vice President of Club Service leads the Club’s community engagement efforts by designing and executing hands-on service projects that make a tangible impact across Birmingham. This role cultivates meaningful partnerships with local nonprofits, civic leaders, and fellow Rotary and Rotaract Clubs to deliver monthly service opportunities and special projects. From managing the Club’s Free Little Libraries to organizing new member service initiatives, the VP of Club Service ensures that service remains at the heart of the Club’s mission while strengthening its role as a force for good in the community.

The President-Elect is the incoming chief executive of the Club, tasked with supporting the current President, leading strategic planning efforts, and ensuring organizational continuity. While preparing to assume full leadership, the President-Elect provides oversight of key initiatives, develops the annual work plan, and serves as a resource for all committees. This role is foundational for setting the vision, aligning Club priorities, and ensuring a seamless transition into the President's term.

The Vice President of Public Relations is the voice of the Club—responsible for shaping its image, telling its story, and keeping both members and the broader community informed and engaged. This role oversees all internal communications and public-facing messaging, from social media and newsletters to media coverage and brand management. By developing a cohesive communications strategy and managing key platforms, the VP of PR ensures the Club’s mission, events, and impact are consistently and effectively communicated to members, stakeholders, and the public.

The Vice President of Recruitment drives the growth and diversity of the Club by leading the recruitment, application, and onboarding process for new members. From managing the recruitment and application review committees to coordinating New Member Orientation and the Pillar Program, this role ensures a seamless and welcoming experience for prospective members. The VP of Membership Recruitment actively cultivates relationships with guests, maintains a strong candidate pipeline, and champions the Club’s commitment to building an inclusive, high-impact community of Birmingham’s emerging leaders.

The Vice President of Social leads the Club’s efforts to foster community and connection through engaging, inclusive social programming. Responsible for planning monthly socials and signature events, this role plays a vital part in building strong member relationships and driving fundraising success. The VP of Social oversees the Club’s largest fundraising events—Sip N Spell and the Foundation Ball—while also coordinating new member socials and managing multiple committees. By blending fun with purpose, this role enhances the member experience and supports the Club’s philanthropic mission.

The Executive Vice President (EVP) & Chief Operating Officer (COO) serves as the operational backbone of the Club, ensuring that all committees, Directors, and initiatives function effectively and in alignment with the Club’s strategic goals. Acting as a key advisor to the President and President-Elect, the COO drives execution, supports committee performance, and maintains institutional continuity. From overseeing technology and data systems to coordinating the Rotaract Annual Report and special projects, the COO ensures the Club’s day-to-day operations reflect excellence, accountability, and impact.

The Vice President of Programs curates the Club’s educational and professional experiences, leading the development and execution of high-impact programming that informs, inspires, and connects members. From coordinating speaker luncheons and signature events like Red Talks to organizing professional development opportunities, this role ensures the Club delivers meaningful content that supports members’ growth. The VP of Programs also serves as the Club’s primary liaison with The Harbert Center and plays a key role in strengthening the Club’s reputation through engaging, mission-aligned events.

The Vice President of Signature Service leads the Club’s most impactful and long-term service initiatives—Ready2Read and Ready2Succeed—which focus on early literacy and college/career readiness. This role oversees all aspects of planning, execution, and partnership development for these cornerstone projects, ensuring they are effectively resourced and aligned with community needs. By managing volunteer engagement, maintaining strategic partnerships, and coordinating with the Foundation on budgeting and planning, the VP of Signature Service plays a central role in advancing the Club’s legacy of meaningful, sustained impact.
